This course should be taken only by students who have completed the Level I Magnetic Particle Testing course number 1012-1.  The material in this course picks up where the Level I course ends, and depends heavily upon the student’s understanding of that foundational material.  Advanced material is presented in easy to read, fully illustrated, and easily assimilated building blocks of information.  Each lesson contains question and response opportunities that focus the student’s attention and proves his / her understanding (or lack thereof) as he/she progresses through the lesson.  Each lesson concludes with a test that requires an 80% score before the student is allowed to progress to the next lesson.

 At the end of the course, the student must pass a comprehensive test over all of the covered material, plus that presented in the Level I course.  Successful completion of each of the lesson tests and the Final Examination earns a Certificate of Successful Completion worth 12 hours credit toward the recommended formal training for the Magnetic Particle Testing method.  The certificate will be signed by the same ASNT Level III who has monitored the student’s progress throughout the course.
