This course concentrates on the subjects suggested by ASNT for Level II Ultrasonic training. 

The person taking this class should have at least a Level IIA knowledge of Ultrasonics (or has taken the Web Based Training course - The Basic and Application of Ultrasonic Testing).

Some review of the basic theory is included, but the pace is fast and is meant for the person who has mastered the basic theory and concepts of application of Ultrasonics for thickness gauging and straight beam flaw detection.

The main emphasis of the 30 hours of classroom time will be on practical application of Ultrasonic Flaw Detection Instruments for the inspection of weldments.
